A Quick Note

This is just a quick note to introduce the two following posts. Since creating a writing section on my blog a month ago, I’m please to announce that I have made UTTERLY NO progress on the second chapter of The Aviler’s Sword.

In fact, I’ve been considering pulling out a few teeth as an easier alternative. As it happens, I have a couple of handy cavities the dentist has yet to inflict pain on. So while I hunt around for some string and a convenient door handle (stay tuned for my post on How to Pull Out A Tooth), I’ve decided to post my two other chapters which were also written last month.

They too are impatiently awaiting second installments.

What can I say? I’m the worldest greatest procrastinating tradie.

Fear not, however!

The boss has inadvertently saved the day by disappearing overseas for two weeks, leaving me on babysitting duty (stay tuned for my post on How To Entertain Little Boys on Rainy Days). With all this time on my hands, I should thus be able to squeeze out three or four chapters.

I apologies if that sounds disturbing.

I merely mean to imply my brain is like the Sahara Desert. Dry. Sandy. A.K.A. No water. Put that in brain terminology and you have what’s known as a Juiceless Brain. The up and short of it is, you have a lot of squeezing to do if you want anything remotely productive.

Anyhoo.

Since this is meant to be a ‘quick note’, I will leave you to enjoy my masterpieces and imagine me squeezing out brain juice in dire desperation to bring you the second chapter of The Aviler’s Sword.

What I do in the name of my muse…

xx The Girl in Trousers
